Founded and operated by Working People, we currently have 9 delis in offices around Klang Valley. We use only 100% Specialty Arabica Coffee Single Origin from Rwanda and make all our gourmet sandwiches, salad & pasta fresh on site, but sell them at super reasonable price because of our unique operating model.

WHAT'S THIS JOB ABOUT

Work@holic Senior Outlet Manager (SOM!) is the second level of management at Work@holic outlet and forms the foundation for future managerial progression. In this role, you will be leading a team of passionate Work@holic Crew(s) to deliver top class customer service while delivering quality food & beverage. Some of your responsibilities include:

 

Customer Service:

  • Ensure Work@holic Crew treat customer in polite manner & upsell as appropriate

  • Responding & managing customer complaints

 

Inventory:

  • Ensuring sufficient stock for day to day operation via planning & ordering from business partners

  • Lead the team to arrange monthly stock count with the crew

 

Ops Standard

  • Ensuring cleanliness of the work area by ensuring daily/weekly cleaning completed

  • Communicate with district manager to resolve sales/operational issues

 

People Management:

  • Schedule team’s timetable fairly & optimally while dedicating work among team members according to workstations

  • Help reportee succeed by managing and training and providing them with feedback

 

Operations Basic:

  • Ensuring baking and food production according to schedule and quality

  • Ensure complete pastry/ sandwich display

  • Ensure team understand Product Knowledge

  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

 

Finance:

  • Able to ensure proper opening, closing, shift handover among crews while proper management of petty cash flow & outlet cash bank in

 

Marketing:

  • Co-ordinating with the Headquarters on promotional events and other marketing related events

 

HSSE:

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN US

  • At least 1 year working experience in the Food & Beverage / Hospitality / Tourism industry.

  • Experience in overseeing outlet(s), cost & budget planning.

  • Experience in baking is a plus

  • Able to handcraft coffee (basic) using espresso machine

  • Must be able to communicate well in English

  • Must be Malaysian & possess own transport

  • Work Full Time (5 days a week) 6am - 4pm or 9am – 7pm
